I experienced a cardiac event in early 2012 and then completed cardiac rehab. The forward direction in continuing on a healthier lifestyle with some form of physical fitness was one of my decisions. By incorporating regular fitness activity into my life, I feel that I learned to help myself in a way that produced measured results. I have lost some significant extra body weight and truthfully feel less sluggish with increased overall energy.
K-Fit’s Heart Healthy Program has not only helped me physically, but has fostered a greater sense of well-being. Kristen and her staff apply their knowledge and expertise in a way that helps me achieve my fitness goals. The dedication and caring is evident upon walking into the studio.

Last Spring I had a series of three shots of synvisc in my right knee, the fourth set in four years. My doctor told me that I should get into an exercise program to increase muscle tone, improve balance, and generally get into better shape. My neighbor, Donna happened to mention that she was going to a class which had been held at Salem Hospital and now was starting up at a studio in Centennial Park in Peabody. I went to the first class and was hooked. Every workout is different, no high-tech machines, just weights and ropes and poles. The results speak for themselves: Thirteen points down in cholesterol, more energy, and my clothes fit better!
